Ibis Styles Milano Melegnano puts the best of Carpiano at your fingertips, making your stay both relaxing and enjoyable. Our room in particularly, and the hotel generally looked and felt brand new. I was surprised the hotel was open since 2012. One small negative for the room was the ac was set to 24, and initially was very warm till we changed it. A huge plus for the shower, which was wonderful can’t imagine how it could be improved. WiFi was excellent, and it was very easy to log into to using a QR code. Talking of tec, the car park had a number of Tesla charging stations. All of the staff spoke English, were warm and professional. We arrived about 4pm, the bar was open for drinks or coffee, but no sandwiches or other food was available till 7pm The hotel is in a industrial area, some what run down with several units closed. About ½ mile from the hotel, on the road leading up to it were a number of prostitutes working (at 4pm). The hotel is very easy to get to from the A1 The hotel, it grounds and carpark are guarded by very very substantial electronic gate, which was closed even in the afternoon. I could not help thinking in a post nuclear war World, this would be an ideal place to stay, as the huge gate, and equally substantial fencing around the hotel would keep the zombie hordes out. Most people will find something they will love at the breakfast buffet. However the orange juice was not 100% orange. Thus is a diamond of a hotel, offering good value for money, however it is in somewhat of a rough area.If you’re staying in Midtown (i.e. Times Square) or the West Village then it is about 30 mins walk to 530 W 27th St in Chelsea, which is where the McKittrick Hotel is.
